I think this is a wonderful idea. I have a 5 year old son, and it seems that every year as he gets older it becomes more difficult to buy things for him. I really don’t know what the “cool” items are for kids, especially for boys! I also have difficulty buying for family. The first few gifts I give them are ok, but when having to do it year after year it gets hard!!

I love holiday gift guides! I might be interested in having some of my Mild Passion Parties products reviewed.

I like to be done with most of my shopping by September. It’s a goal that is rarely made, but I do have a lot of gifts by then because I am always on the search for things to give and when I see them I buy them. I also have a list that I keep so that when I think of something or one of the kids says “oh, I really want/need/must have…. XYZ” I write it down. If I see it and the price is where I want it to be I pick it up. My one daughter is a clothing ho and so I buy Lane Bryant real woman dollars on ebay and then go and let her pick out $600 worth of clothes. Because the real woman dollars equals 50% off I pay $300 and she gets a lot of clothes so long as she is fugal about what she wants. I tend to shop clearance first and I’ve noticed that she now does that before even looking in the store.
