Giveaway Policies & Regulations

This statement sets forth the terms and conditions under which a giveaway where a winner is chosen at random (“Giveaway”) are executed by MamaNYC.

No purchase is necessary to enter any Giveaway on MamaNYC. All entrants must be residents of the country specified within each individual giveaway, ages 18 years or older, and must provide a valid email address in order to redeem prize.

The odds of winning a Giveaway is dependent on the number of entries. Winners will be selected randomly by MamaNYC using Random.org through Rafflecopter as the selection tool. After contact is made, winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize. If a potential Prize winner forfeits or does not claim a prize, the prize will be re-awarded to a new entrant through Random.org as previously mentioned.

All entries received after the Giveaway closing date and time will not be considered. Entries that do not follow all of the entry requirements will not be considered. MamaNYC and the Giveaway Sponsor are not liable for late or misdirected entries, entry errors, or transmission problems.

All decisions made by MamaNYC are final.

MamaNYC reserves the right to terminate the Giveaway in the event of technical problems, or to correct typographical or technical errors, or to amend these rules.

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless MamaNYC, Giveaway Sponsor, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with a Giveaway.

All Giveaway winners must be willing to furnish a valid shipping address in order to receive a prize. Winners also agree to release and not to sue MamaNYC for use of their name, logo, domain, and/or likeness including, without limitation, claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of the right of publicity, liable, unfair competition, false advertising, intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress, and/or copyright or trademark infringement.

Taxes on Giveaway are solely the responsibility of the Winner.

Non-winning entries from one Giveaway may not be carried forward to future Giveaway (unless otherwise noted during occasional promotional Giveaway events).

All giveaways, unless otherwise stated, shall follow these guidelines and procedures:

• Hosted and winners selected through Rafflecopter.

• Hosted with the intent providing a fun way to give a reviewed item or pooled blogger prize away; MamaNYC giveaways are in no way meant to be a form of gambling or sweepstakes.

• Open only to individuals 18 years or older.

• Start and end on specified dates/times as published.

• All giveaway entrants agree to be honest and validate their entries. Fraud and cheating on giveaway entries is not tolerated and winners shall be disqualified from giveaway and all future promotions if any information surfaces and deemed to be falsified entries. Entrants may be disqualified at our discretion without any explanation necessary.

• Winner will have 48 hours to claim prize, after being notified via the email they used to enter the contest. After 48 hours, if there is no response, another winner will be chosen.

• Self-sponsored giveaway prizes shall be mailed to winner(s) within 7 days. Whenever possible, MamaNYC will provide tracking information to the winner(s).

• If giveaway is sponsored by an outside entity, then winner will abide by their prize fulfillment periods, which may be as long as 45 days, depending on the sponsoring brand or firm. MamaNYC shall not be held liable or responsible, should a vendor choose not to fulfill a promised prize. MamaNYC will do everything within her power should such an issue arise, but the end result shall not hold liability to MamaNYC.

• Any prizes that may result in tax liability for the winner(s) are the winner(s) responsibility.

• Any and all giveaways may be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, email or other social network sites. This is a means of promotion only, and any promotion on those sites is not to be interpreted as Facebook or Twitter partaking in, or being in any way responsible for that particular contest.

• Winner(s) assumes all responsibility if further clarification is needed, prior to either entering a giveaway on this site or claiming a prize at the conclusion of a contest.
