Mom Finds Friday Motherhood Mom Advice

Mom Finds Friday: March 14, 2014

..because there’s no such thing as too much mom advice!

It’s Friday, we’re tired, and the kids are bouncing off the walls. Mom needs a few minutes to herself (please!).

As a stay-at-home mom and full-time blogger, I actually find it quite difficult to read other blogs lately, which makes me sad! That’s why I have decided to start a new weekly roundup featuring a handful of motherhood blog posts from this week. It will give me a chance (and reason!) to go out there and scout out some of the best mom advice, stories, and experiences that my fellow bloggers have recently published.

To make things even better, I am asking you to link up your motherhood related blog posts using the linky down below. Leave one or more (don’t go too crazy!) that you would love to share with my readers that pertain to motherhood. This isn’t about giveaways, reviews, or sponsored content. Let’s stick to your personal stories or mom advice, experiences, etc. Anything pertaining to motherhood that was written on a fairly personal level is perfect for this roundup!

I have a great selection of posts picked out for my very first Mom Finds Friday! Check  back every Friday to see what I have gathered up throughout the week — and to add your motherhood posts, too. Follow @MamaNYCnet on Twitter or “Like” MamaNYC on Facebook so that you can remember :O)

My name is Nicole Napolitano and I am a full-time professional parenting blogger and work-at-home mom of two adorable and vivacious children (boy - 6 & girl - 2.5). I decided to develop MamaNYC in 2010 shortly (1-month) after transitioning from work-a-holic Internet marketing pro to the shoes of a stay-at-home mom (bored!). As a dedicated business manager for over 9-years, I was determined and positive that I would once again be a successful business woman -- whether or not I had a diaper bag tagging along! I am a New York City native, but relocated with my husband and our two kids to sunny Los Angeles in the summer of 2014. Leaving everything behind was scary, but it's time to make new memories. My interests include web design, Internet marketing, product development and research, SEO, movies, friends, and spending time with my family.

  1. I think this is a great idea. Sometimes we need the push to get things done and you found the push you need. Also I appreciate hearing others stories and ha.

  2. Although my kida are adults now, I still indulge in MOM articles. Just b/c your kids grow up, doesn’t mean you are not a Mom anymore. In fact, it’s important to stay in touch with how women are mothering these days…how can I give wise advise to my now grown daughter or even my grankids if I don’t stay in the loop with kid rearing? Good post and I hope this takes off and I see a lot of posting down here.
Good gawd, this print is tiny on this post. I can’t even see what I wrote.
