Springtime in the Park!

Springtime has arrived; time to venture outdoors and move!

 Brooklyn Wordless Wednesday Springtime in the Park

Warmer weather means endless outdoor activities!

There’s nothing like enjoying springtime in the park with my kids..

My son is on Cloud 9 thanks to spring finally {starting to} creep into New York City!

These large sculptures are actually at our playground. Interesting, right? ;

My name is Nicole Napolitano and I am a full-time professional parenting blogger and work-at-home mom of two adorable and vivacious children (boy - 6 & girl - 2.5). I decided to develop MamaNYC in 2010 shortly (1-month) after transitioning from work-a-holic Internet marketing pro to the shoes of a stay-at-home mom (bored!). As a dedicated business manager for over 9-years, I was determined and positive that I would once again be a successful business woman -- whether or not I had a diaper bag tagging along! I am a New York City native, but relocated with my husband and our two kids to sunny Los Angeles in the summer of 2014. Leaving everything behind was scary, but it's time to make new memories. My interests include web design, Internet marketing, product development and research, SEO, movies, friends, and spending time with my family.

  1. I’m so glad you are starting to get some warmer weather! I love spring! And how cool are those sculptures? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that!

  2. That looks like such a fun park to go to! I’m so glad that spring is here and that we can get outside more often. We’ve been kinda stir crazy lately.

  3. When we came out of the cold (and mind you, SoCal is a place where I have NO room to complain), the kids are on Cloud 9 as well. With some parks nearby, we’re out playing, biking, kites ‘n such. Let’s inspire each other to get out there and “unplug” a bit. My kids LOVE to play iStuff, but we certainly keep it in check so they get outside enough. Thx for the post! Good stuff.

  4. I love reading posts that make me realize just how different we all are. My kids DON’T look forward to Spring! Springtime means that Summer is right around the corner … and summer means we’re all stuck indoors and the electric bill triples!

  5. I’m so glad it’s finally warming up! It’s so nice to be able to burn off some of that energy outdoors. Love the playground sculptures (well, maybe not the snake), and they look so fun for the kids to climb on.

  6. He is probably enjoying the beautiful weather as much as you are. Oh how I long to be able to get outside and go to the park and walk around. I love feeding the ducks and watching the baby ducks at our park.

  7. Looks like you had lots of fun! Spring is a great time for kids to get outside and be active. My grand kids love it when they can ride their bikes and go for walks around their neighborhood. They often go to the everglades and spend the day outside, enjoying nature. It’s a beautiful time, and I hope the spring weather comes soon here.
