Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD:
Rise of the Turtles Review
I remember watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the early 90′s when my younger brothers were little. Both of my brothers were huge fans of the TMNT’s and actually decorated their shared bedroom with merchandise to show off their love for Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo. Fast forward to present day and I am now enjoying the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with my son! He’s been a HUGE fan since the first episode premiered a few months ago — just as I had expected he would be! That’s why I was thrilled to see the newest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD land on our doorstep last week!

The new TMNT series brings a fresh look and feel to the show, but the same old turtles that we all grew up loving when we were younger have remained. I don’t know if it’s just because I was a young girl being a brat to my younger brothers back in the day, but I am really enjoying the new series more than I had – but I’m also a mom now, so I could be biased to simply enjoying my sons eyes light up with excitement… Either way, I love watching the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series with my son!
Available for release on February 26th (2013), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ "Rise of the Turtles" DVD is an action-packed adventure that starts us off learning the story of the TMNT’s as they first emerge from their hidden lair, which is of course tucked under the lovely sewer system of New York City. In addition to five episodes, you’ll also enjoy an exciting and tubular karaoke music video for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song. Each DVD also includes an exclusive TMNT poster — available for a limited time only! The DVD has a running time of 145 minutes and releases from Paramount.

I totally remember TMNT when I was a kid. So cute they’re making a comeback. I’m even seeing LEGO versions of them.

My kids love the Turtles and now that they have the Lego sets to go right along with them, I am sure it is going to be huge in this house.
It’s amazing how long the Ninja Turtles have been around. I have twin brothers that are 20 years younger than me and they’ll be 29 in May. I remember them liking the Ninja Turtles when they were about 3 years old. Talk about feeling old! lol!
This would make a great Easter present for my youngest. He loves the turtles! He has all 4 plus the shellraiser vehicle. Thanks for the review. I’m going to look into getting it.
I’ve always loved the turtles, and I’ve seen a lot of shows and whatnot over the years. Even as an adult, this looks cool!
They were my favorite when I was a kid. I’d love to get this and see if my son enjoys it as much as I did.
