Sibling Love: Big Brother & Baby Sister – Wordless Wednesday w/Linky!

sibling love Wordless Wednesday February 2013

Sibling Love. . .

After 9+ months of worry and concern over the idea of adding another child to our family, I can rest easy knowing that my son is on Cloud 9 and head over heels about our newest addition. There’s nothing quite like sibling love! My son was instantly in love and attached to his baby sister. I can’t wait to watch my son and daughter grow, play, learn, interact, and bond in the weeks and months to come!

MamaNYC
My name is Nicole Napolitano and I am a full-time professional parenting blogger and work-at-home mom of two adorable and vivacious children (boy - 6 & girl - 2.5). I decided to develop MamaNYC in 2010 shortly (1-month) after transitioning from work-a-holic Internet marketing pro to the shoes of a stay-at-home mom (bored!). As a dedicated business manager for over 9-years, I was determined and positive that I would once again be a successful business woman -- whether or not I had a diaper bag tagging along! I am a New York City native, but relocated with my husband and our two kids to sunny Los Angeles in the summer of 2014. Leaving everything behind was scary, but it's time to make new memories. My interests include web design, Internet marketing, product development and research, SEO, movies, friends, and spending time with my family.

  1. Such a sweet picture! I worried too, but my girls are 23 months apart and best of friends. They freak out if they don’t see each other. I love that they are so close.

  2. I think having an older brother would be just perfect. We had all boys and they got along well, but there is something special about a protective older brother for a girl.

  3. That is one of the sweetest pictures I’ve ever seen. I think it needs a good photo contest home because it’d surely win. So beautiful and precious.

  4. Congratulations on your precious new addition to your family! When I was pregnant (over 26 years ago), I always said that I wanted a boy first, as the younger siblings would always have a “big brother” to take care of them. 🙂

  5. How Precious! I still have the picture on my wall of the first time my sons met, and need to refer to it often now that they are 14 and 11! Enjoy this time Nicole, it passes faster than you can imagine. Congrat’s for staying home to take in every minute!
    Happy Parenting your Little Siblings!
