sibling love Wordless Wednesday February 2013

Sibling Love. . .

After 9+ months of worry and concern over the idea of adding another child to our family, I can rest easy knowing that my son is on Cloud 9 and head over heels about our newest addition. There’s nothing quite like sibling love! My son was instantly in love and attached to his baby sister. I can’t wait to watch my son and daughter grow, play, learn, interact, and bond in the weeks and months to come!

  • Tara

Such a great picture..hopefully this bond continues throughout their childhood!

  • Cheryl

    Congratulations again!

  • Jennifer

Such a sweet picture! I worried too, but my girls are 23 months apart and best of friends. They freak out if they don’t see each other. I love that they are so close.

  • Sofia

Sibling love is the best!! Specially when they randomly hug, kiss, and tell each other how much they love them. It is soooo cute!

  • Kelly R

This is so cute. Congrats. on your new baby..

I think having an older brother would be just perfect. We had all boys and they got along well, but there is something special about a protective older brother for a girl.

It’s great that your son thinks his sister is neat. Fun picture.

  • Michelle Tucker

That is one of the sweetest pictures I’ve ever seen. I think it needs a good photo contest home because it’d surely win. So beautiful and precious.

Congratulations on your precious new addition to your family! When I was pregnant (over 26 years ago), I always said that I wanted a boy first, as the younger siblings would always have a “big brother” to take care of them. :)

  • Monica

    This is adorable! Congratulations!!

Oh too sweet! Our baby is due in 2 weeks. Hopefully our sibling bonding goes as well as yours has.

How Precious! I still have the picture on my wall of the first time my sons met, and need to refer to it often now that they are 14 and 11! Enjoy this time Nicole, it passes faster than you can imagine. Congrat’s for staying home to take in every minute!
    Happy Parenting your Little Siblings!
