Dora the Explorer DVD Review :
Dora’s Butterfly Ball
Dora is back with a brand new set of episodes from the current season that can be found on the Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Butterfly Ball DVD, which hit store shelves on February 12th [2013]. First, Dora, Boots and their new friend Mariposa head to the big Butterfly Ball. After that, Dora and Boots go on an art-filled adventure to help their friend Daniela finish her mural. Finally, Dora needs help on a Father’s Day adventure! Also included in the DVD for a limited time only is a Dora sticker sheet!
Soar with Dora in these 3 colorful high-flying adventures!
Loop-de-loop with pretty magic wings at the Butterfly Ball, explore art, and catch a runaway kite on Father’s Day!

My son has always been a big fan of Dora, so he was very excited to see a brand new DVD arriving in the mail last week. He loves to help me write reviews on MamaNYC, especially when it comes to a Dora the Explorer DVD like Dora’s Butterfly Ball!
We sat down together earlier in the week to watch Dora’s Butterfly Ball and my son also mentioned that this would be my daughters first Dora experience… ever! She’s only 3-weeks old and I guess you could say this was her first time (of many — I am sure!) watching a Dora the Explorer DVD and/or episode. That’s definitely something special to remember!
Of course, Dora’s Butterfly Ball DVD was a BIG hit and actually inspired a great discussion with my son about Father’s Day gift ideas, too. He used the Dora the Explorer sticker sheet that was included with this DVD to create a drawing with a special collage for her sister. I always love to watch my son feel inspired to give, create, learn, and problem solve after watching Dora the Explorer!

Have never seen any Dora shows. No kids in my life.
My granddaughter is obsessed with Dora. She even has the Dora potty! She also loves to drag her Dora blanket everywhere. It needs a washing so bad but I have yet to get it without her knowing! lol!
My daughter loves Dora and I had no idea there was a new movie out. So glad I read your review. I will have to get it for her!! She watches them over and over!!
Dora is one of the few shoes that my daughter will watch. She will be 2 next month so I’m guessing she will start getting interested in tv programs soon. I love that Dora teaches another language along with so many other skills. And this time with ¡VAMOS A PINTAR!, she will even get introduced to art!
I love how Dora inspires little kids to do activities. It is great when they can have fun and learn at the same time.
