November Holidays & Strange Observances
It’s time for another rendition of strange, weird, and usual holidays here on MamaNYC! I cannot believe it’s November already, but I did check my calendar (numerous times) just to be sure. Longtime MamaNYC readers know all too well that I post a LONG list of strange holidays every month, which are out of this world and totally bizarre.
Although a majority of these November holidays may seem weird, I have included ALL observances so you will find serious or usual practiced observances on top of these bizarre holidays. Not every holiday on this list is strange, but I can assure you there are many that will boggle your mind!

About Nicole
Nicole is a stay-at-home mom living on the outskirts of Manhattan with her husband and their 3-year-old son. She is also expecting a second child in January 2013.
My daughter always likes telling me about what day it is…sometimes she even tries to celebrate our meal or activity around it. The 14th McDonald’s is celebrating their day with buy one Big Mac or Quater Pounder and get one for .14. My husband loves hamburgers and is planning on helping them celebrate their day! : ) My husband’s birthday is the next day, the Great American Smokeout…well, we will see how we celebrate that. : )
