We love to watch our old childhood favorites with our son, which is why I was thrilled to see a Tom and Jerry DVD in our mailbox this week! As always, I had to toss this movie on immediately after opening up the package since my son couldn’t wait to watch two of his favorite characters, Tom and Jerry, and see what sort of mischief they were up to in the new Robin Hood and his Merry Mouse DVD!
The first time we watched this DVD, I was too busy watching my sons face as he sat in awe, clapped, screamed at the television whenever Tom and Jerry got themselves into a jam, and smile! Obviously, I had to hit replay (3-year-old orders!) and got to watch it a second time. I made sure to pay much more attention this time around, but I was still so distracted because my son was really getting into the action of this movie. He’s now an even bigger fan of Tom and Jerry, but also curious to learn more about who this Robin Hood character is and what he is all about.

I hope the animation is up to the standards of the early cartoons. Something went out of me as a kid when they switched to cheaper rotoscope animation.

Tom and Jerry was one of my son’s favorite cartoons. I am glad to see that it is still around for his kids to enjoy and that they are updating the old classics. I’m also glad to read in your review that they’ve kept the same aspect of the characters.
I have always loved Tom and Jerry. I am glad that this new take on Robin Hood has come out with them actually working together during part of the movie.

I Still Watch Cartoons But Nowadays It’s Family Guy And The Simpsons.
I loved Tom and Jerry when I was a kid! I felt bad for Tom at times, too bad he never learned his lesson. Lol
It has been years since I have seen a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I loved them when I was a youngster and am glad to hear that they are still around. These cartoon are what I call “good clean fun” for children. This would make an excellent Christmas gift for any youngster despite the age.
