Last month I had a chance to attend an amazing event while at BlogHer thanks to the great folks at Fisher-Price! This private event was held right here in Manhattan and we were all served an absolutely delicious variety of dishes as we experienced a hands-on party with the "Magic" Servin’ Surprises kids play kitchen & table in addition to an adorable and fun "magical" Birthday Cake!
Everyone went home with the Servin’ Surprises Birthday Cake Set, which is an adorable cake sliced into FOUR pieces. Your cake can be vanilla or chocolate, sprinkles or NO sprinkles – you pick! The best part about this cake is the candle found in the center, which is magically going to disappear once your child blows out the candles! It is truly magic and an adorable set that my son has truly fallen in love with! This was his favorite gift from mom once I got home from BlogHer!
The Servin’ Surprises Birthday Cake comes with everything you will need to celebrate! At only $15.00, I can’t find one reason you would resist this toy. I was thrilled to find out that all guests from the event would ALSO be receiving the amazing Servin’ Surprises Kitchen & Table kids play kitchen that I had a chance to play with hands-on while attending the private Fisher-Price event in August! My son had already fallen in love with the birthday cake set, so I was anxious to see how crazy he would go over the entire kids play kitchen set!
I don’t think I need to tell you what happened when this BIG box arrived at our doorstep…
The Servin’ Surprises Kitchen and Table Set is an interactive play center that truly allows your children to imagine and create as they role play all day long. We love interactivity and fun, which is clearly two main features of this set. Place any of the Servin’ Surprises food items atop of the magical serving tray and it will recognize the food and respond with the exact sound effects appropriate for the food – and it also plays a bunch of great songs, too!
My son has owned other kid play kitchens in the past, but nothing comes close to the Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises! There is a built-in stovetop with burner and grill, which is also FLAT on the opposite side. Lift the stovetop and flip it over to instantly turn your kitchen table into an activity table! The open-and-close light-up oven also features realistic sound effects.
You will also find a 4-slice pizza with customizable toppings and pizza cutter. Place the pizza on top of the serving tray to hear pizza sound effects and a fun pizza song! My son LOVES creating pizza pies for his family.

There is something so magical and adorable about having your little one deliver a pizza that they worked SO hard on for the past 60-seconds with their "magical" kitchen! My son KNOWS how much mama loves her chocolate! He enjoys serving 4 cookies for dessert that he bakes on his cookie tray. Enjoying a ‘pretend’ lunch or dinner meal with my son never gets dull! He knows how to serve his meals properly with a pretend fork, spoon, cup and plate.
After we are done creating, I love how easy it is to clean up our meal! There is a hidden compartment in the center of the table that is easily accessible and fits all of our goodies and supplies for safe storage. I wish real life was this easy…
Obviously, I had to get straight to work and begin assembling our new kitchen immediately after delivery.
As I began to setup the new table, I handed off the plastic food pieces to my son so that he could start whipping up a pie of pizza for mom.
… It was lunchtime after all!

I was shocked to see how sturdy and BIG the kitchen tabletop turned out to be! It’s the perfect size for playing, crafts, or eating (real food!). My son will be able to do a variety of activities on his Servin’ Surprises Kitchen tabletop, which is a feature that is very important to us! Being able to multitask on a product such as this Fisher-Price kitchen table mean that we are far from restricted and the possibilities are endless!
Notice the stovetop, which is easily flipped over to create a completely FLAT surface! I love how our new Fisher-Price kitchen is interchangeable from a kids play kitchen into a ‘real’ table for crafts and fun!

Toys keep getting cuter & better! It is always nice to read that the table is sturdy and a nice size play surface for the kids….and love that storage is inside – now that is brilliant. *Almost* makes me want to have little ones again – LOL

I love giving my kids toys that will get them to use their imaginations! I think they would really enjoy these and they look pretty sturdy – a requirement for my kids! It also looks like you attended an awesome event!
My daughter has seen this on TV and really wants one. She is 5 though and I worry it won’t hold her interest. She loves to play cook and does have a kitchen but it doesn’t sing and such. What is your opinion on it for Preschoolers age 5-6?
