Today is Wednesday, June 25th. Let’s say something nice …
So, I am here, but I am not. I have been working behind-the-scenes (wherever that "is") on a monstrosity of a post. Actually, I have… (counting, gimme a second will ya!)… 4 posts open that I am trying to finish before the sun goes down midnight. I didn’t want to bore all of you, and I got a little inspired anyway to toss up a quick, fun, and gentle reminder post of how we should be.
“You can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.”
― D. Macomber
I am lacking energy and this is not a position anyone should be in 1-week prior to BlogHer 12 in NYC! I may not publish as many posts as normal over the next 5-7 days, but I can assure you that I am working on too many posts at once! I am more a "construct, research, take a break, and finish later" type of blogger, which seems to take longer than anticipated most of the time. Creating a blog series does this, however, and I am also scheduling posts for all of you to enjoy while I am at BlogHer!
Generosity, humility, and kindness go a long way…
… but they go even farther when forgotten.
Do something nice today. Say something nice.
Let the driver in front of you with his signal on just pass already!
Hold the door open for a struggling mom balancing a stroller and hot coffee.
Don’t judge others – because they are liking judging you back.

Well, with this post you inspired me to make some phone calls tonight! I called my mom and told her that I love her and that she was a great mom and raised me right. Then I called my sisters (both of them) and said some nice things about their parenting and also told them I love them so much! Then I called 2 of my close friends and offered to take them both out to eat with me Friday, MY TREAT! You are so right! We should say something nice to people more often! It just takes a few minutes and it lasts a lifetime!

Thanks for this post! I am extremely positive person and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt…in any situation. I must say my kids hate my motto: “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all!” I hope you have an extremely uplifting and productive day and a BLAST at BlogHer!
I always try to be optimistic and positive. I’m usually surprised at how nastily some people can behave. If you can’t say something nice don’t speak!!
for me, just stay away from negative people or just don’t listen to what negative things that they are going to say.it will just keep you down. Have a good vibes
