SAVE with San Antonio Vacation Experience Deals & Discounts!

We keep talking about planning a family vacation, but it has been very difficult since the expenses that we will incur are likely going to exceed our budget. Planning a vacation can be difficult, especially with a strict and limited income. However, I am now becoming much more anxious to plan a trip since we are expecting our second child in January 2013. We are trying to plan a trip for the Fall since it will be difficult and nearly impossible to try and arrange a San Antonio vacation in the Winter!

Before I start to plan our next vacation, I am immediately beginning to worry about how I can possibly save on hotels, food, airfare, theme parks, and attractions. Will I be able to remain under budget, but also plan a memorable and fun family trip for everyone? Our living expenses are already nearly over our means here in New York City, so the idea of adding a vacation into our monthly budget is a scary thought!

Thinking about those expenses isn’t such a worry after I checked out the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience website! There are so many different ways to save and budget savvy tips to ensure a fantastic and frugal family vacation. So, I guess we can take our trip and stay under budget!

The SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience website has so many exclusive deals, Limited Time Offers and fantastic discounts on some of the best theme parks, museums, shopping, hotels and resorts, and so much more! There is a discount available for every different expense you may incur while on vacation, which means you are likely going to beat the budget since you have the opportunity to discount everything from your hotel stay to local eateries!

I found all of our favorite hotel and resorts on the SAVE Hotel partners list, so I can be sure we will have a comfortable and luxurious hotel stay! Knowing that I can SAVE on our hotel stay thanks to the San Antonio Vacation Experience discounts and deals, I would start off my trip planning by selecting one of their SAVE Hotel partners! The list of hotels that we can SAVE on thanks to the San Antonio Vacation Experience website include Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Hyatt Regency San Antonio on the Riverwalk, Hilton Palacio del Rio, and many more!

Next up on our agenda would be deciding which attractions and local theme parks we would like to check out while on vacation. There are so many great attractions available on the SAVE website, which will make the planning and SAVING process a lot easier than I would have imagined! We won’t have to cross something off the list just because it is too expensive.

Our son loves to visit the local zoo’s here in NYC, so I would definitely include a stop at the San Antonio ZooSAVE San Antonio Vacation Experience has a discount available on their site that will give us $2.00 offadmission!

SeaWorld Aquatica Ray Lagoon Family

Another great discount that I found on the Save Antonio Vacation Experience website is for the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, which features animals from all over the world: zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, rhinos and more! I can grab another SAVE discount to apply $2.00 off admission for our family!

Of course I have to toss in a trip to a water park! I have heard great things about the new Schlitterbahn water parkThe Falls, which is the world’s longest waterpark ride at 3,600 feet of continuous rapids. Thanks to San Antonio Vacation Experience, I can grab a SAVE discount for up to $10.00 off our admission!

If we have enough time to hit up two water parks, I would love to check out San Antonio’s Splashtown! With over 50 rides and attractions, concerts, and “Dive In Movie” nights for families, I am sure our son will have an amazing time at Splashtown! As a SAVE partner, I will have a chance to SAVE up to $42.00 thans to San Antonio Vacation Experience website! Talk about savings!

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is another SAVE partner that we would like to check out while we are vacationing in San Antonio, which will give us a discounted entrance for our family: $1.00 offSAVE discount! Visitors can wander through formal gardens and even a special garden for the blind where emphasis is placed on the texture and scent of plants.

Texas Alamo San Antonio

Of course we are going to want to check out the Alamo! One of the SAVE discount partners has a deal listed for an Alamo Helicopter Tour! We can save 10% off a helicopter tour and check out the Alamo from up above. That would definitely be an exciting and fun filled adventure for our family!

There is so much to do in San Antonio and lots of deals to take advantage of thanks to SAVE San Antonio Vacation Experience website. DId you notice how many discounts and coupon offers I have listed in this post? The best part about all of this is that I have only discussed a very small handful of opportunities available thanks to SAVE partners. So, I guess we should start planning that vacation pronto!

  1. My hubby has family in Texas, and I am pretty sure they live near San Antonio. We have discussed going to visit them, and now I know how to plan the vacation on a budget!

Oh a helicopter tour sounds like something my son and I would love. But, yeah, even with all the discounts and deals, we’re still too poor for a vacation like that. We consider taking a trip to visit my mother a vacation – week and a half of tight living quarters, rural boringness, tagging along while she does her work at the boring mall that has less than 30 stores… Love my mother, love spending time with her and letting her spend time with her grandson – but it’s so expensive to get there and back and not much of a fun, vacation-esque time.

Huh, I’ll keep San Diego in mind for next year. We have been to California once, but San Diego was not one of our stops. My kids LOVE animals, both sea and land faring. WE try to save money whenever possible, and I research everything before we go to find the best deals on restaurants and attractions. This time my Dish coworker suggested the kids use the tablet PC’s for watching TV. We use our Sling Adapter so we can watch live and recorded TV from our DVR back home, along with the Dish Remote Access app on our iPad and Galaxy 10.1. It was nice that we didn’t have to listen to the fighting in the back seat this time, and I kept my peace of mind.
