I have been quite impatiently awaiting the right time to share some very exciting news with all of my readers and TODAY (or, tonight actually) is the day!

That’s right! I am happy to announce that Mystery Baby #2 will be arriving sometime in late January 2013. We are beyond thrilled and cannot wait to welcome a second child into our home!
Our son is so excited to be a big brother and cannot stop hugging my belly and saying "hello, baby!" every morning and "goodnight, baby!" before he heads off to sleep for the night. I don’t think he understands just how long pregnancy takes, but I know he is anxiously awaiting the birth of his new brother or sister. He has asked me every day if the baby is going to play "today, or even tomorrow?".
THE BOY OR GIRL GENDER GAME. . .
The suspense is killing me (ALREADY)! We had an amniocentesis when I was pregnant with my son, which is the most reliable (and earliest!) form of confirming the sex of a baby. I don’t know how I will possibly wait a few more months until I can find out the gender of my baby! I had it so easy during my first pregnancy!
This will obviously mean a LOT of baby talk, pregnancy gripes and joy, maternity product reviews, and eventually newborn baby announcement (and gender!) here on MamaNYC! I am going to be sharing a lot of (hopefully) great experiences, information, product reviews, and other pregnancy "stuff" throughout the next 7+ months. I am SO excited to share my experience(s) with all of you and wanted to forewarn everyone — we’re about to start a bumpy (and fun!) journey together!

We’re expecting a baby .. and I am feeling a bit humorous apparently.

Love the Rosie the Riveter logo change-up. I don’t consider myself crafty, but I did help to make 3 people

Aww Congratulations!!
Congrats Nicole! I can’t wait to follow along with you. Baby #3 is due in October here!
Congrats to you too, Tamara! Oh you are much closer than I am… I’ll have to keep an eye out for the birth of your 3rd in November. That’ll be my signal for “we’re getting SOMEWHERE and making progress/only 2-2.5 months left” mark!!!
You are so awesome!! I’m going to live vicariously through you as you prepare for Baby #2!!
Congrats!
Yay! Congrats to you!
Congrats to you and your family! All the more reason to stalk! I love birth stories so you better have an awesome for me
Congratulations! Our #2 is now 6 months old. It is amazing how quickly it goes the second time around, so try to remember to enjoy it (between the nausea, cramps, aches and exhaustion).
Congrats! I can’t wait to read about your progress
I’m SUPER excited for you, Nicole!!!! Now, take it easy!!!
Congrats and happy womb reading.
Congratulations – very exciting news!
Nicole! I don’t even know you and I feel thrilled. I like ‘I’m so crafty that I even make people’. I think that men actually feel some sort of awe like that about womaness! So far so good, yeah! That is big news.
Haha! Thanks Margot!
Oh my husband was in TOTAL awe after watching my c-section (from behind the curtain, but he … got a glimpse. Won’t go into that… :-X). He realized this was *NO JOKE*! Women really go through absolute HELL for 9+ (PLUS!) months and then.. giving birth!? Forget it!
Making people is no easy task and women take their responsibility seriously. Someone’s gotta do it, right? I’m excited to once again prove to myself, husband, and other onlookers that I CAN carry a human around for 9-months and then put up with the labor process. Thank you again!!!
Congratulations! my sister’s birthday is Jan 17th and she was a c-section baby
That’s my due date (so far.. b/c we all know due dates change 300x!). He/She will be a scheduled c-section, so I cannot wait to see what my appointment date will be! Thank you!
Yay for you!! I too look forward to lots of baby posts; gender, cravings, shopping, and the baby gieaways
congratulations on #2!
