Although I have not personally struggled with skin cancer, or any other form of skin diseases from the sun, I know firsthand how important it is to protect our skin after watching friends and family members suffer. As a redhead and cancer survivor, I’m always concerned with how my skin reacts with the sun – I burn incredibly easily. My grandmother had skin cancer and since she found out, I’ve always been very, very careful about how much exposure I get.
Not to mention my skin gets so oily and breaks out badly in the summer, but I blame that on the heat.
