I am so happy to be back online and no longer sitting in a moving truck. There are a lot of things that went wrong, didn’t happen, broke, shattered, or dirty during our move this past Saturday. There was actually a fluke snowstorm here in NYC. We never (ever!) get snow in October, ever! November is actually pretty rare as well, but the last snow storm that occurred in NYC on October 29th was 50-years ago (funny, right?). I can sit here and complain, but I have something better in mind (a lot better than my complaints!).
I’ve had this in the works for about 2-weeks now and I am so happy I can finally post this for all of you! I actually put this all together when I found out I was moving around October 12th or so. I wanted this to be a nice "thank you for understanding and being so patient with me while I stopped blogging for X-amount of days because I had to move in a snowstorm and now my life is in boxes" giveaway for my readers (that was a handful). I’m not sure where to enter in my worst gift so I will enter it in here!
The worst gift ever given to me for my wedding shower my moms friend gave me a set of towels with the wrong initial on them!! My last name starts with a W and there was an P on them not even my maiden last name starts with a P but guess who’s last name did! Her’s!!! LOL I didn’t have the heart to ask for a gift receipt or say anything because she acted as if they were great! So now even after 7 years I laugh every time I see those towel!!
So my best gift would have to me my aunt gave me her Benrnina sewing machine that she did not use anymore and it is great! I use it just about every week to sew all kinds of different projects!!!
