It is hard to believe Summer has come and gone. Here in New York, the Fall season is welcomed with open arms as we wave goodbye to the hot, humid, record breaking temperatures we were tortured with all Summer long. I cannot wait to take a trip Upstate New York for apple picking!
We love this time of the year and the 1-hour trip upstate has become an annual family tradition. Last year our son was only 1 1/2 years old and got a real kick out of it! This year he will probably find himself much more excited than the last!
Pumpkin picking, hayrides, Fall foliage, and sweaters: These are a few of my favorite things in Autumn. We finally removed our air conditioners for the season over the weekend. I was very glad to see them and even more excited for a [much] lower electricity bill. The change of seasons is a part of New York life I could never leave behind.
A lot of friends have moved out of state and always tell me they miss the change. Sure, I would love to live in a state with zero humidity and 75 degree weather year round. However, I still cannot imagine a life without the changing seasons!
